At the heart of any successful renovation project is a well thought out multiple step design plan. We are always looking for ways to improve this experience for the client and to make the whole process as painless and clear as possible. With many successfully completed projects we have a process we believe that has proven to be effective in setting proper timelines and expectations for customers.
In this initial meeting we introduce our company and spend some time getting to know our client and understanding what the clients goals are for their renovation. Basic measurements and photos are taken to document the space as well as visual inspection of current plumbing, electrical and all aspects of the room that would be affected by the remodel. Most importantly in this phase we are educating the customer and listening to what they are looking to change or add to the current space. Any ideas or specific materials that a client is interested in using are shared in this meeting to help establish an initial quote. We always try to establish an initial budget with a customer to understand if the project is feasible.
Based on our discussions with the client in the design consult we draft up an official contract outlining the project and itemizing all phases of the project, materials and schedule. Once we have a signed contract this allows Charles Hayden to schedule a customer for the project to begin.
Utilizing the information we discussed with client in our initial consult meeting we establish an initial design storyboard. This allows the customer to get a basic breakdown of the layout and material selections. We do charge for 3d drawings and storyboards
